Our Training

The ISCPP's International Crime Prevention Specialist Curriculum Training & Testing is a three day intensive review of the ICPS Curriculum to prepare you to take the ICPS Test. The cost is per person and registrants will receive three days of Curriculum Training to prepare them to take the test, a copy of the ICPS Curriculum, test fee and one year membership to the ISCPP. The ICPS Curriculum Training is available anywhere in the world providing you can get at least 10 people to take the course. Once this criteria has been met, the airfare, hotel and per diem costs of the trainers are paid for by the ISCPP. At this time, please contact the ISCPP for Training Costs.

This has to be coordinated with the ISCPP Training Chair several months in advance. Please use the contact form on the by clicking here. You need to find a location with room for at least 10 people in a classroom setting. The room must have audio/visual capabilities of a TV/VCR/DVD, screen for a laptop and projector.

Registration is handled through the training page on our site, while we prefer electronic registrations, we do accept hard copy as well. We will handle all questions, keep a roster of attendees, and accept payments for training.

Our trainers are volunteers and our board members with years of practical experience in crime prevention. They all meet the ISCPP Policy requirements on trainers established by the Board of Directors. Most of our trainers have to schedule time off of work in order to train in your community and are volunteering their time and talents to give back to the crime prevention community and the ISCPP.

We accept checks, purchase orders, and money orders in US funds made payable to the ISCPP. We also accept credit cards during the event registration on our website using the Paypal system for processing.

In 2006, the ISCPP Board adopted the policy to give the hosting agency 1 free registration for the Training & Testing for every 10 paid registrations.
