The 30th Annual ISCPP Symposium was held on March 24-27, 2010 in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the USA.  Conference Chair Brian Donnelly and his crew did a great job as our hosts!

The week began with the International Crime Prevention Specialist Training & Testing that was coordinated by David T. Gabel, ICPS and his crew of Nicole Dennis, ICPS, Jacob Muoro, ICPS and Richard Cannady, ICPS.  All the attendees successfully completed the ICPS Test and were designated International Crime Prevention Specialists.

At the same time as the ICPS Training & Testing, Art Hushen was hosting a three day CPTED training for 10 people.  As always, Art's classes are well received!

On Wednesday, the Symposium started as attendees arrived.  We were treated to Myrtle Beach Night that evening and we attended Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede!  Our group was selected to participate in two events - the toilet seat "horse shoe" throw that was won by Jim Howell and the wooden horse raise won by President-Elect Brian Donnelly and his wife Christine.

The Symposium had many great classes including Human Trafficking.  A special presentation by Tom McKay from Canada feature Behavior Based Design - an offshoot of CPTED.  Nicole Dennis from Las Vegas presented on their child safety programs.  ISCPP President David Gabel did a presentation that was later re-named "Solution Oriented Policing".
